Am-MetricSeal™ manufactures replacement American and metric mechanical shaft seals for submersible, sewage and water pumps used in the wastewater and mining industries.

American SDMS (Specifically Designed Mechanical Seals) by Am-MetricSeal™ are designed to meet ANSI and API standards or recommendations.  Each seal is designed to fit into the original equipment manufacturer's stuffing box without modifications to the pump housing or shaft.

Various seal materials are available for each shaft seal assembly.  Some of the more common mechanical shaft seal materials are:  silicon carbide, tungsten carbide, ceramic, carbon graphite, stainless steel alloys, and high performance plastics.  Am-MetricSeal™ can provide other seal materials to meet your specific needs.  We would be happy to discuss your special requirements and prepare a quotation for you.  Please see the Am-MetricSeal Home Page for Contact Information.
