Screen Resolution

This web site is designed for the now accepted standard of 800 x 600 pixel resolution on the display monitor.  If you have a smaller resolution, you may need to scroll left and right to see the complete page.  With higher than 800 x 600 pixel resolution, monitors will display the web pages centered on the screen. 

Printing Web Pages

Web pages designed for 800 x 600 pixel monitor resolution normally will print at full width on your printer.  However, you may find the right hand edge of your web page missing with some browsers and some printers.  If you have this problem, first try reducing the size of the Left and Right margins in the browser Page Setup to 0.25 inches.  If this doesn't fix your problem, try reducing the Text Size used by your browser.  Finally, if these do not fix your problem, switch to landscape printing.

Active Scripting - JavaScript

There are many user support functions provided by active scripting.  There are no known security hazards in allowing Active Scripting (JavaScript) to be executed by the browser.  Some parts of this web site will not function without Active Scripting enabled.  No web site can easily determine if you have Active Scripting enabled or disabled.  However, if the web site functionality seems to be abnormal, you may have Active Scripting disabled.

In Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0, you can enable Active Scripting by:

2) Clicking on the "Security" tab

Secure Sockets Layer - SSL

Secure Sockets Layer or SSL is used to encrypt the data transmitted between the web site and your browser.  On this web site you will not use SSL because there is no private data to protect against prying eyes.  However, when transfering from this web site to the Secure E-ComWorks.net Order Completion Web Site, you will be switched into the SSL mode.  You can verify that you are operating in the SSL mode by looking for the lock symbol in the border of your browser window.  Also when you are in SSL mode, you will see the the web page address is prefixed by "https://" instead of the usual "http://".  The S is for SSL.

Microsoft Internet Explorer & Netscape Communicator

The current version of Microsoft Internet Explorer is version 6.0 and is commonly referred to as IE 6.0.  Although none of the web browsers currently available fully comply with the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) recommendations, we believe that IE 6.0 offers the best viewing capabilities.  All web pages on this web site have been tested with IE 6.0 on the Windows 2000 operating system and have been certified to render the text and images as the web designers intended.

If you are running IE 3.0 or IE 4.0, for better viewing, more security and more functionality, upgrade to IE 6.0.  If you are using IE 5.01, you should upgrade to IE 6.0 because of some imcompatability issues that may be noticable in certain situations.  Also, IE 5.01 should be the Service Pack 2 version for security reasons.  If you are using IE 5.5, you should be running the Service Pack 2 version to correct some security issues and should consider upgrading to IE 6.0 as well.  Users of IE 6.0 should install the latest free security patches from Microsoft to correct recently identified security issues.  You may obtain the latest version of Internet Explorer and the latest security patches from Microsoft by clicking this link.

If you are using a Netscape browser, this web site should perform as intended.  However, you may find that some text or images will not render as the web site designers intended.  This web site automatically detects the type and version of the web browser you are using and adjusts the HTML code to correct the rendering and functionality as much as practical.
